The following privacy policy outlines the ways in which Remote Jobs (we, us, our) collects, stores, and handles information pertaining to users of our site, where employers, candidates, and guests are referred to as you, your, their. This in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.
What Information We Collect
Account Information
Your information is collected at the time of account creation, this includes a username, password, and e-mail address.
Personal Information
Employers may be required to fill out personal information when setting up their account or posting a new job, this includes their company name, address, region, phone numbers, industries, websites, social media links, image/video attachments (logos, banners, advertisements), job titles and descriptions.
Candidates may be required to fill out personal information when setting up their account or applying for jobs, this includes their full name, phone numbers, work experience, professional references, profile picture, and attachments such as cover letters and CV’s.
Payment Information
Employer payment and billing information is stored to process payments related to our services. This information is shared with our payment gateway Stripe whenever a new order is placed or a refund is issued.
Technical Information
Your I.P. address is recorded each time you visit our site to help us address concerns and troubleshoot issues you may face. In addition to this, we may also record the device or browser that you use to access our services.
Cookies are used on our site to temporarily remember information such as forms you fill earlier or logins for future sessions. These may also be used by third parties such as Google to track site performance and activity. Cookie usage can be disabled via your browser settings at any point.

We value your rights of your personal information. We store information for a time that is reasonable, or if we are legally required to retain said information.

How We Protect Your Information
Your information is stored on a secure server using enterprise level SSL encryption which also protects all your activity on our site, including your browsing, forms you fill, and payments made.
We also use secure e-mail for any correspondence with all employers and candidates.

How Your Information Is Shared
Although Remote Jobs does not actively share your information with third parties, there are some parties that may have access to your information.
This includes companies hosting our site and database as well as internet service providers. Remote Jobs may also share your job listings on social media at your request or send you marketing e-mails using a third-party e-mail service if you are on our mailing list.
