Below are the terms binding users when accessing and using Remote Jobs and all its services. Users can also access the Remote Jobs privacy policy for further information.

Introduction and Agreement

 

The following Terms of Service outline the agreement between Remote Jobs and you, the user. By accessing the Remote Jobs site, you agree to the following on behalf of yourself and any parties you represent. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Remote Jobs site, content, or resources.

 

Ground Rules

 

All users must be at least 16 years or older.

All users must provide accurate personal and professional details across all Remote Jobs services.

Users are responsible for the security of their accounts and all actions taken on their accounts.

Users must be respectful of other employers and candidates on Remote Jobs at all times.

Users agree to not post or apply for any listings of an illegal nature.

Users agree to not post any listing that covers more than one vacancy.

Users agree to not post any listing in irrelevant job categories.

Users must not maliciously affect or manipulate the Remote Jobs site in any way. This includes but is not limited to, hindering performance, stealing account details, scraping content, replicating or impersonating the Remote Jobs site/team, or any other action deemed destructive to Remote Jobs’ services and brand.

No user may attempt to bypass security measures to gain access to pages, features, or services that they otherwise do not have access to.

Users agree to not post any listing for adult industries (such as bordello hosts, escorts, etc.)

Remote Jobs is not responsible for attachments downloaded from the Remote Jobs platform, users agree to download any attachments at their own risk.

Copyright

 

All content on the Remote Jobs site, including text, images, accounts, listings, attachments, and other files as the entirety of the Remote Jobs site are the property of Remote Jobs or its users unless otherwise stated, and are protected by both New Zealand and international copyright laws.

All user submitted content, including but not limited to, personal details, company details, any filled text, and uploaded attachments must be authentic and not infringe on the copyright or intellectual properties of Remote Jobs or any other third party.

Users must not modify and/or repost Remote Jobs content on any external website without express written consent.

Third Party Content

 

Remote Jobs is not liable for content hosted on third party websites that may appear in search results, job listings, employer profiles, or candidate profiles. Users agree to understand that external links may change, and Remote Jobs is not responsible for any linked company pages, candidate pages, job offers, or other content that may appear in Remote Jobs’ search results, as that is outside our control.

Changes to our Services

 

Remote Jobs reserves the right to modify or terminate any and all services on our site at any time, without notice.

Remote Jobs reserves the right to modify or terminate any accounts on our site at any time, without notice.

Remote Jobs may impose restrictions on user activity at any time, without notice.

Remote Jobs reserves the right to refuse services to any parties deemed offensive, unlawful, defamatory, or parties that violate these Terms of Service.

Amending Terms of Service

 

Remote Jobs reserves the right to alter these Terms of Service at any time, without notice.

Remote Jobs reserves the right to alter service pricing at any time, without notice.

 

Warranty

 

While Remote Jobs strives to maintain security and performance on our platform, we cannot guarantee that Remote Jobs services will always be functioning as intended or perfectly secure. Users agree to understand that there may be times where services are interrupted without notice.

The purpose of the Remote Jobs platform is to connect employers with candidates. As such, Remote Jobs is not responsible for the hiring process once employers contact candidates or vice versa.

Remote Jobs does not guarantee that listed jobs are vacant, that responsibility falls on employers to mark their listings as filled.

Remote Jobs is not responsible for any inaccuracies in job listings.

Remote Jobs is not responsible for any unauthorised interception of user information by third parties.

Laws

 

All users, including those outside of New Zealand, must abide by New Zealand law at all times. Registered and guest Remote Jobs users must not use Remote Jobs for any illegal purposes.

Users must not use Remote Jobs to commit any illegal activities in their local areas.

 

Closing Statement

 

Any users caught violating these terms will be subjected to account cancellation and possible legal action. Remote Jobs discourages all malicious behaviour on its site and performs regular security and content checks, however Remote Jobs is not responsible for content placed by third parties. While we will always try our best to remove any malicious content, we apologise if you are subjected to such content; users agree to use Remote Jobs at their own risk.
